PointPark Properties is expanding the range of environmentally friendly solutions used in P3 park buildings.
Besides solar panels and laminated wood beams, it is offering its customers energy-efficient lighting that operates with movement sensors. HOPI, a major occupier on PointPark Prague D1, was the first to see the benefits of this service. Thanks to the installation of new intelligent lights, HOPI has lowered its operation’s CO2 production by 353,961 kg per year and its total operational expenses by 66 percent. The company called doublepower!! handled the lighting replacement.
“Our client HOPI ordered the efficient lighting installation as part of a lease extension package. Currently we’re negotiating installation of economical lighting with another client. We offer this possibility to the existing as well as future tenants for our Build-To-Suit projects regardless of the building’s technical condition,” says Tomáš Kubín, P3 Head of construction.
“The main goal for replacing the lighting system in the warehouse facility was to increase energy efficiency in operating the tenants’ spaces, to decrease service expenses for the lighting system and to lengthen the system’s service intervals,” says Filip Kříž, head of doublepower!! “For this purpose, we prepared proposal for replacing existing gas-discharge lamps those require minimal intervention into the electrical installation and circuit breaker equipment,” Kříž adds.
